Responsibilities

  • An automated tester (using Java) is responsible for writing and maintaining automated tests for a software application. This can include unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
  • In this role, you may also be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, debugging and troubleshooting failed tests, and analysing and reporting on test results.
  • You will work closely with the development team to ensure that the application is of high quality and is thoroughly tested before it is released.
  • You will also be participating in peer code reviews, analysing and reporting on testing, and staying up to date with best practises and the latest tools and technologies.
