Requirements

  • Experience of delivering psychological interventions with a wide range of presenting problems is desirable as well any postgraduate training in psychological interventions.
  • We would welcome applications from anybody on a Pre-Registered Professional Training in Applied Psychology studying for a Professional Doctorate in Counselling, Health or Forensic Psychology.

Responsibilities

  • The post holders will have the opportunity to work closely with Psychological Services and MDT colleagues with service users who have complex interpersonal and emotional difficulties. This includes presentations of depression, anxiety disorders, ptsd, trauma, personality disorder diagnoses, psychosis, and dual diagnoses.
  • The successful applicant will have excellent opportunities to develop skills in clinical assessment, formulation, consultation, and intervention.
  • Clinical supervision will be provided.
