The primary role of the Lead BIM Designer is to work on various projects, coordinating with the Engineering and Design Staff, and leading a team of CAD Design Engineers to define and implement BIM/CAD applications.
What software should candidates be proficient in for this role?
Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and AutoCAD Plant3D, as well as having experience with BIM360 for model hosting.
How many years of experience are required for this position?
A minimum of 10 years of previous design experience is required for this position.
What type of degree is preferred for candidates applying for this role?
An architectural and/or engineering degree or vocational training is preferred.
Is experience in the Life Sciences industries beneficial for this role?
Yes, process industrial experience, especially in the Life Sciences industries, is preferred.
What are the key responsibilities of the Lead BIM Designer?
Key responsibilities include project delivery using 2D and 3D software, coordinating BIM/CAD projects, developing quality control procedures, providing training support, and ensuring compliance with design and production standards.
