Responsibilities

  • Drives technological production process in Brewing department with special focus on Safety, Food safety, Quality and Cost, from Raw materials (acceptance & storage) to Beer production (from Brewhouse till Bright Beer transfer to Fillet), in the planned amounts and desired quality.
  • Assures compliance with all the brewing process requirements in line with the HEINEKEN Rules, Standards and Procedures, local legislation and country standards.
  • Plans staffing and resources for the appropriate Brewing activities and monitors the execution and progress of the Brewing planning, including productivity, priority setting and daily adjustments / instructions.
  • Managing of department budget and other resources relevant for Brewing department.
  • Communicates effectively and cooperates with the suppliers. Supports the process of choosing the best supplier (machine, material, etc.) that meets HEINEKEN standards.
  • Identifies quality risks. Defines and ensures implementation & evaluation of local quality procedures and working instructions, in line with applicable quality regulations and the HEINEKEN Rules, Standards and Procedures.
  • Manages correct recipe implementation in Brewing department.
  • Manages AM Brewing Pillar, sets up and establishes the basics, according to pillar route (step 0 and 1).
  • Initiates, implements and embeds improvements to Brewing processes and procedures, according to TPM methodology.
  • Explores new opportunities of Brewing operations / technologies and supports innovation process.
  • Implements HEINEKEN Safety, Food safety and Sustainability standards and ensures these are embedded / applied / followed within the brewing operations, for both own and outsourced process / activities.
  • Monitors, controls and reports Sustainability and SHE conditions and behaviors in Brewing department and takes appropriate actions / measures to prevent them from happening.
  • Drives Safety agenda of the department.
  • Effectively organizes Brewing department and manages a team of people including recruitment, performance management and (career) development, according to the HEINEKEN procedures.
  • Provides clear and accurate information for the Brewing performance, according to agreed KPIs.
