  • Experience working closely with electronic trading platforms including algorithmic trading, smart order routing and internalization / matching engines.

Responsibilities

  • Function as an Equity Sales and Trading subject matter expert.
  • Serves as a consultant to internal business partners on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects/initiatives.
  • Serve as a business analyst.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Manage small to mid-size projects acting as a “lite” project manager.
  • Participate in testing, training, and implementation of new systems or upgrades.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders to support business objectives, revenue growth opportunities, supplier innovation and expense control.
  • Lead and execute market research, benchmarking and spend analysis as needed.
  • Stay informed on business/industry initiatives and bring “NEW” ideas to increase efficiency and/or to generate revenue.
  • Liaise with external execution venues and monitor execution costs
