Requirements

  • EDUCATION:
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Bachelor's: Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
  • TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
  • 8 years recent relevant experience.
  • SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Basic knowledge of marketing research theory and methods including: conjoint analysis, customer segmentation, and best practices identification.
  • Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Make presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
  • Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
  • Advanced capabilities with Excel, Access and other analytical tools to enable forecasting and modeling to answer advanced business questions
  • Knowledge and use of Tableau interface highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Develops and analyzes industry and competitive information in order to produce actionable insights around business questions and decisions facing Sutter Health and its regional affiliates. Serves as a liaison for internally and externally sourced strategic databases and tools. Applies strategic tools in order to provide forecasting, simulations, feasibility studies, modeling, resource planning, valuation, and other financial and statistical analysis to help evaluate strategic opportunities and scenarios.
