Responsibilities

  • Lead complex Travel Distribution Strategic Projects / Initiatives aimed at business model change, content acquisition and/or creation of new value proposition for both airlines and travel sellers. Over the course of each project, you will gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations to Travel Distribution leadership team, aligning with key stakeholders within the Travel Unit and with a broader Amadeus organization (Corporate Strategy, Finance ...).
  • Design incentives strategy to align with revenue model on the airline side, with the objective of sustaining current profitability of the overall model. This includes: understanding the value proposition to Travel Sellers (content, IT ..), assessing competitive environment, formulating financial analysis, obtaining buy-in from regional heads, supporting its implementation and when appropriate design recurring analytical or monitoring processes.
  • Actively participate in corporate initiatives and cross Business Line (BL) projects representing Travel Distribution Strategy. Ensure alignment across BLs, and evaluate the impact on Travel Distribution of cross BL projects.
  • Help in the definition of standard commercial guidelines that reflect the value of the channel / model vs other alternatives.
  • Support deal negotiations when the model is outside the standard commercial framework. Act as entry point for key strategic, contractual, commercial and operational items related to business model portfolio within the travel distribution. May support/drive training activities to develop commercial teams on Travel Distribution business (including business models, contractual frameworks, incentives frameworks etc).
