Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be responsible for tracking cancer patients in line with national cancer targets and will facilitate data collection for suspected/ diagnosed cancer patients, entering the information onto appropriate database(s).
  • The post holder will need to be flexible and self-motivated with a good attention to detail and the initiative to work independently as well as a team.
  • This post is key in providing high quality information and ensuring patient’s progress effectively on the cancer pathway.
  • The post holder will work closely with staff across the wider trust including clinicians, general managers, deputy managers, nurses, secretaries and other administrative staff.
  • The post-holder will be an enthusiastic person, a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude; keen to build relationships across the organisation in order to improve the Trusts’ digital maturity and self-service use of data.
  • To achieve in this role, post-holder should be flexible enough to adapt to new technologies and at the same time equipped to shape the stack of existing solutions.
