Responsibilities

  • The role of the MH practitioner is to work in partnership with CAMEO service users, developing their care plans and recovery plans to enable them to lead fulfilling lives.
  • They will demonstrate an understanding of clinical interventions relevant to CAMEO.
  • Protocols as detailed in NICE guidance CG178 and EIPN Quality Standards CCQI 373 to include assertive outreach approaches, psycho-education, relevant aspects of social inclusion, recovery, care plans and discharge planning, working closely with partner agencies to facilitate this, and working alongside carers and families, offering them specialist interventions.
  • The post holder will work to promote the safety and the wellbeing of service users and their families/carers.
  • The post holder will assess, plan and implement care, and provide specialist advice pertinent to their professional background and carry out relevant specialist interventions.
  • They will provide clinical supervision to staff and students.
  • The post holder will ensure that the early intervention approach and ethos are adhered to, this includes working with the under 17 age range as required.
