What is the Career Accelerator Program (CAP)?
The Career Accelerator Program (CAP) is a program designed to provide professional and technical training and resources to help new employees, like Software Engineers, ramp up at Texas Instruments and set them up for long-term career success through hands-on experiences.
What kind of training will I receive as part of the program?
You will receive function-specific technical training, knowledge of embedded systems design techniques, foundational software development processes, and exposure to software development tools, among other hands-on learning opportunities.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher, proficiency in C and C++ programming, familiarity with assembly language programming, and a solid understanding of software engineering processes.
Are there any preferred qualifications for this role?
Yes, preferred qualifications include strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to establish relationships with stakeholders, strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ability to work in teams, time management skills, and the ability to take initiative and drive for results.
