Responsibilities

  • Handling a portfolio of EL, PL, Product liability and commercial motor fleet claims from notification to conclusion, within your agreed authority limit.
  • Handling claims including appointing investigators and expert witnesses.
  • Instructing defence solicitors on litigated claims and attending court when required.
  • Working closely with brokers and AIG policyholders on the resolution of claims and provide a high level of customer service, including client review meetings.
  • Reserving accurately in line with AIG’s claims reserving philosophy.
  • Communicating with internal AIG stakeholders where required.
  • Timely, accurate and customer focused claim resolution, minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expense.
