  • This role will focus on underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of our Casualty.
  • You will be responsible for assessing the desirability of risk through regular contact with brokers, close co-ordination with AIG subject matter experts and robust reviews of claims history and general company information.
  • Your relationships with brokers will be key to your success.
  • You will need to provide excellent service to brokers through a consistent, timely, and proactive approach to underwriting.
  • You will also aim to generate new business by expanding your broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market – in line with a sales plan established with your manager.
  • Another key aspect of the role is the provision of accurate monthly management information including submissions, bind rate, average premium, and total premium.
