What are the working hours for the Catering Assistant position?

You will be working in a busy food environment within the catering department at Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
Do I need to have a food hygiene certificate to apply?
Ideally, you should hold a Foundation food hygiene certificate; however, full training and support will be provided during the induction.
What are the main duties of the Catering Assistant?
Main duties include working in various production areas, pan wash, pot wash, dining and service areas, serving patient meals on wards, and maintaining a clean and hygienic workplace.
Where are the main hospitals located?
The main hospitals are Furness General Hospital in Barrow, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal.
What types of services do the hospitals provide?
The hospitals provide a range of services including General Hospital services, Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, outpatient services, diagnostics, therapies, and both day case and inpatient surgery.
