Responsibilities

  • Support NPI & Engineering team during all phases of product introduction (launch and sustaining)
  • Be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, interacting with multiple teams and conducting decisions to solve priority tasks
  • Communicate test results, ideas, and problems to supervisor and engineers, able to be part of the solution
  • Possess an understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Coach and effectively lead production teams through launches/cut over
  • Execute NPI trial plan in cell manufacturing line or pilot line
  • Record trial data, process parameters, trial material ID. Escalate build issues through the proper channels and group until resolution. Communicate the learnings after
  • Work with other engineers/production supervisors/production associates to execute the plan
  • Use MFS system to track and monitor trial progress
  • Follow safety procedures and perform NPI material handling, do material audit on the floor
  • Perform test procedures, create JIRA tickets to request test resources
  • Support all NPI activities and use JIRA tickets & PCA notes to track and update on all activities
  • Learn each of the manufacturing process areas to understand trial/cutover impacts
