What qualifications are required for this position?
A technician in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics training or equivalent experience is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Experience in new product/process launches is also necessary.

How many projects will the technician be expected to manage simultaneously?
The technician should be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and interacting with various teams to prioritize and resolve tasks.

What systems will the technician need to use?
The technician will need to use the MFS system to track and monitor trial progress and create JIRA tickets to request test resources and track all NPI activities.

The technician will work closely with other engineers, production supervisors, and production associates, and must build connections with team members to achieve great results.
Are there safety procedures that need to be followed?
Yes, the technician must follow safety procedures and perform NPI material handling and material audits on the production floor.
Will the technician be involved in data recording during trials?
Yes, the technician is responsible for recording trial data, process parameters, and trial material IDs, and must escalate build issues through proper channels until resolved.
What ongoing support is expected during product introduction phases?
The technician is expected to support the NPI & Engineering team during all phases of product introduction, including both launch and sustaining phases of new products.
