As the Chief Architect for ADP’s Shared Products Portfolio, you will be responsible for setting the architectural vision and strategy for a broad suite of products, including our ADP Mobile Apps, Authentication and Identity Management systems, Shared Services, and our Autopay Payroll engine. You will work closely with engineering, product management, and other key stakeholders to ensure that our products are designed and built to be scalable, secure, and user-friendly across the enterprise.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Develops, manages, and maintains an enterprise integration strategy and roadmap.
  • Architect advanced integration frameworks to support scalable, secure, and efficient data exchange across diverse internal and external systems.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure and efficient software solutions.
  • Spearhead the adoption of microservices architecture, containerization technologies, and serverless computing to enhance agility and scalability. Implement robust governance models, ensuring architectural compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and business units, to ensure that integration projects align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Defines metrics to measure and demonstrate integration architecture value.
  • Mentor developers and architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • You have 15+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science or related field is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture within a complex SaaS environment. Proficient in designing and implementing solutions using a variety of integration patterns (API-led connectivity, event-based architecture, microservices).
  • 5+ years of Mainframe Modernization Experience, Demonstrates the ability to evolve core legacy systems incrementally or via major re-architecture effort.
  • 5+ years of Payroll Domain Expertise
  • Deep expertise in API development, architecture and tooling. Familiarity with Spring framework, Monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Experience with Application Containerization.
