What is the primary responsibility of the Civil Construction Administrator?
The primary responsibility of the Civil Construction Administrator is to serve as the primary contact for construction-related issues on projects where AVCON is the Engineer-of-Record (EOR), requiring constant communication among the in-house design staff, the contractor, and the client or owner.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with higher education preferred, and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a construction administrator or inspector. A working knowledge of applicable statutes, rules, ordinances, codes and regulations governing operations is also required.
Is experience with construction plans necessary?
Yes, candidates must be able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications, which is essential to perform the job effectively.
