Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineering In Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • 0-2 years of Civil Engineering experience; internship experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of modeling and design software (i.e. REVIT, PCSWMM, etc.) as applicable
  • Involvement in professional organization(s) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and editing designs recommended by Project Engineers
  • Preparing portions of project documents including drawings and specifications
  • Researching code and regulatory requirements
  • Researching design options, component specifications and document findings for Project Engineers and Job Manager
  • Involvement in Construction including site inspections, review of shop drawings, and responding to contractor’s questions; as needed, prepare alternate designs to resolve construction challenges
  • Performing analysis and design retrofit of new and existing facilities
