  • IMEG. is growing, and we’d love to have you join our team!  We are currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer in our Naperville, IL office.  As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing or assisting Senior Project Engineers or Project Managers with detailed engineering analysis.  This will be done through the preparation of reports, permit applications and construction plan preparations.  Individuals in this role may have an emphasis in traffic, municipal, transportation or other specialized areas.


  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans and drawings
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in construction
  • Skill in the use of Microsoft Office programs and AutoCAD Civil 3Dsoftware
  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Prior direct experience is preferred but no prior direct experience is required for an entry level position
  • This position is not eligible for Sponsorship.

  • Interpret state and local design criteria and apply it to the specific project needs
  • Regularly has work assignments checked by peer or supervisor
  • Ability to consistently produce high quality construction documents
