  • Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or the ability to obtain within 6-12 months
  • Engineer-in-Training Certificate, or the ability to obtain within 6-12 months
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D software

Responsibilities

  • Assist project team in design of public infrastructure such as water & sanitary sewer lines, roadways, water plants, lift stations, wastewater treatment facilities, etc.
  • Assist project team in preparation of construction drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.
  • Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and utility evaluations
  • Prepare various exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D & Bluebeam
  • Coordination with agency staff and internal support teams on designs, analysis, and issues
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite to develop calculations in Excel, reports and letters in Word, and presentations in PowerPoint
  • Assist with construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D including grading plans; plan and profiles; construction details; storm drain, water and sewer facilities; signage and striping plans
