Responsibilities

  • Successfully completes training to become knowledgeable in tax-advantaged spending and saving accounts and programs that include but are not limited to flexible spending accounts, dependent care, tuition assistance, adoption reimbursement, transit and parking programs, tuition assistance, COBRA, and health spending accounts.
  • Receives, reviews, and verifies employee benefits claims including but not limited to flexible spending accounts, commuter claims, dependent care, tuition assistance, etc., following standard operating procedures.
  • Using skill to distinguish, determine and categorize claims information involved, enters claims case data into the system by selecting the appropriate options from drop-down lists, checkboxes, and other available data classification options.
  • Upon adjudication of the claim, finalizes and processes claims paperwork following standard operating processes.
  • Takes measures to ensure that sensitive information remains confidential following and adhering to department policies, processes, and procedures.
