Do we support remote work?
Yes, we offer a hybrid work model, allowing frequent remote work with travel to one of Kennedys' offices once a month.
What types of claims will I be handling?
You will be managing a wide range of medical malpractice claims, including errors during cosmetic treatments, complaints against individual clinicians, dentists, or hospitals.
Is experience in medical malpractice claims essential for this role?
While experience in medical malpractice claims is ideal, it is not essential, and we encourage candidates with other claims handling or paralegal experience to apply.
What qualifications are required for the Claims Handler position?
You should have claims handling experience or paralegal experience, preferably gained at a defendant insurance law firm or within the insurance market. Experience with medical malpractice claims is a plus but not required.
Who are our primary clients?
Our primary clients include medical malpractice insurers, aesthetics and cosmetic insurers, insured independent hospital groups, and insured healthcare practitioners.
Will I need to interact with clients in this role?
Yes, you will be required to liaise with clients and provide outstanding customer service as part of your responsibilities.
