Responsibilities

  • In this role, you’ll deliver successful customer and business outcomes through investigating queries, supporting business processes, policies and procedures and understanding customer and business needs
  • Specialising in Climate, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), we’ll look to you to develop and maintain procedures to assess Climate & ESG risks at client level
  • This is your chance to take on a collaborative role where you’ll enjoy a varied and extensive breadth of work and gain valuable exposure across a broad range of senior level stakeholders
  • As our Climate & ESG Operations Lead, you’ll support the wider internal and external reporting deliverables and consistently maintain a strong relationship with internal stakeholders across entities and all areas of the climate programme and external reporting
  • You’ll maintain a set of standards measuring business impact on society and the environment, ensuring sufficient transparency on outcomes both at client and trade level to appropriate governance
  • Mitigate integrity risks for the bank by managing the Climate & Environmental risk assessment of business relationships based on applicable EU Climate & ESG regulations
  • Review portfolio outcomes in context of risk appetite and potential greenwashing risks, reporting outcomes to relevant Risk and Control and other governance
  • Demonstrate oversight of Climate & ESG operational risks and related services as well as monitor performance while continuing to meet regulatory expectations
  • Contribute to control requirements for NatWest Markets N.V. to ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines and risk standards, and own the ESE Risk toolkit
