What is the main focus of the Clinical Pharmaceutics Quality Practitioner role?
The main focus of the role is to provide Quality Assurance for the aseptic preparation activities at St Mary's Pharmaceutical Unit (SMPU) and Llandough Aseptic Unit, as well as the licensed classical manufacturing duties at SMPU.
What qualifications are required for this position?
We are looking for a highly skilled pharmacy professional or healthcare scientist with significant experience in a regulated quality assurance or manufacturing GMP environment. A demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance processes for aseptic, sterile, and non-sterile pharmacy manufacturing is desirable, although training in specialist areas will be provided.
Is it necessary to speak Welsh for this role?
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; however, both Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
What kind of training will be provided for the role?
While extensive experience in the relevant fields is preferred, training in specialist areas of quality assurance processes related to aseptic and sterile pharmacy manufacturing will be provided.
Will the role involve conducting audits?
Yes, the role will involve conducting audits, completing CAPAs, and driving quality improvements as part of the Quality Assurance responsibilities.
