Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role, with a focus on multi-cloud technologies, particularly Azure and AWS.
  • Strong understanding of Azure and AWS services, including but not limited to ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, VPC, Route53, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda, and Azure equivalents.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and/or ECS.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in multi-cloud environments.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives, focusing on Azure and AWS capabilities as needed.
  • Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated application deployments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot multi-cloud services and infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with the development team to optimize application performance, availability, and security.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and data privacy across multi-cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure and AWS services, tools, and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure and operations.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to enable infrastructure provisioning and management.
