Responsibilities

  • Understanding customers' overall M365 productivity portfolio, Information Technology (IT) and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) using PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application coding.
  • Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
  • Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices, and connect with Engineering teams to remove key blockers.
  • Assess the Customers' knowledge of M365 productivity and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners.
  • Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions.
  • Overall, a Cloud Solution Architect needs to be responsible for the three delivery pillars of customer centricity, customer impact and business impact while embodying Microsoft’s culture and values of respect, integrity and accountability.
  • As a Cloud Solution Architect – Enterprise Voice, you will be a key technical resource for the customer, primarily focused on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, delivering assessments and providing tailored guidance. Troubleshooting skills are essential as this role will include working with Microsoft Customer Support Specialists to expedite incident resolution. The role can include a mixture of short and long-term customer engagements. Finally, the role will be responsible for voice infrastructure management and integration of Microsoft Teams with existing enterprise voice systems.
  • Proactively develops technical and professional learning and development plan in alignment with and support from their manager. Role models effective technical readiness. Acts as a mentor and role model to less experienced colleagues to educate them on technical and non-technical concepts.
