Requirements

  • Essential:
  • You’ll need at least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent experience and/or qualifications)
  • You should have sharp analytical skills, an ability to work autonomously but also work well with others.
  • Desire to challenge yourself and those around you to be successful in highly competitive traded markets.
  • Desirable:
  • Digital skills including excel, VBA or coding languages.
  • An ability to manipulate and analyse complex information.

Responsibilities

  • For the first 12 months you will work in multiple operational roles and have project responsibilities to not just to learn the details of our business but to make an immediate contribution.
  • In the second 12 months, subject to satisfactory development, you will have an opportunity to transition into a shift trader training programme within our 24/7 UK Power Trading team.
  • You will spend time at various power plants and in our Dusseldorf headquarters.
  • You will be supported in post by senior colleagues and through a development program.
