  • You will have worked in a Financial Services firm or Technology provider focused on the buy-side, building extensive experience of two or more of Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Asset Servicing, Asset Management, or Private Markets. You understand the business and can talk with COO & CTO business partners at their level, being equally confident in discussing Business process, Operating models and Technical Architecture.
  • You will have previously developed code for RAD or production business processes, and may have moved away from coding in recent years. An understanding of coding principles, and experience of writing code (C#, Python or Java) is required, the majority of the coding is in Python with some SQL for this role.
  • An understanding of derivative instruments, accounting rules and principles would be beneficial for the role.
  • You will need excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to be able to clearly share information with clients and help define the product roadmap internally.
  • Client meetings are both in person and via video conferencing, as such the candidate must be able to work regularly at our London offices.


  • Be the “conduit” between the commercial teams and product to enable feedback from clients into product evolution.
  • Curate new product demo material to showcase the latest capabilities of the product to clients, delivery this material to clients and iteratively improve and expand the material to aid the sales process.
  • Working closely with the product team identify, scope and manage enhancements to FINBOURNE’s solutions driven byclient feedback. Codify this process to ensure that feedback is recorded and managed to completion.
  • Lead product horizon scanning roundtables with clients and prospects that feed into the product development process and content production (working closely with marketing).
  • Be thevoice of the client on the Product Counsel by sharing client feedback in workshops or product sessions on FINBOURNE’s offering, for example how the solution is working and how it could be developed.
  • At proposal stage, oversee the development and provision of product-based RFP responses that facilitate the production of professional and relevant RFPs which improve our chance of winning client mandates.

  • Regular 1-2-1 meetings
