  • Broad knowledge of gas and electric utility rates, business objectives, to include operations, customer service, finance, and corporate relations.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements communications components and/or public outreach of strategic company projects, initiatives, and issues, providing support to other initiative teams as needed.
  • Assisting in the development, coordination, and implementation of the project plan. This includes the communications, public affairs, and technical components of the project or initiatives providing support to other projects/initiative team members as needed. Must understand the overall goal and strategy of the plan, as well as how the tactics interconnect.
  • Producing communications collateral and implementing communications tools.
  • Identifies opportunities to evolve PSE's communication strategies and approaches, including new technology, engagement strategies, and processes.
  • Acts as a customer advocate.
  • Raising issues on the customers’ behalf and working with team members to address customer concerns.
  • Assisting in managing and answering customer questions in coordination with outreach and customer care team members.
  • Engaging directly with customers, answering questions, and acting as a liaison between the customer and project teams.
  • Coordinating with internal groups to ensure information is being shared with customer-facing employees and cohesive public outreach strategies and plans are developed.
  • Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.
  • Performs emergency and storm duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
