Responsibilities

  • This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.
  • You will make sure that the FD’s Estates and Facilities team can deliver their critical work by facilitating the flow of information between Faculties, Estates colleagues, external contractors and University stakeholders.
  • Your work will be vital in ensuring the University community understands key estate projects and supports the minimising of campus disruptions through supporting effective engagement.
  • You will work closely with project managers and contractors to create communications and content for use across a wide array of audience channels and manage the highly successful social media accounts that promote work to improve the campus.
  • The role includes proactively supporting the communications needs of essential services such as Security and Cleaning as well as business critical, reactive work around disruptions on campus.
