Responsibilities

  • Supporting Verizon’s Chief Learning Officer and partnering with HR senior leaders to understand their priorities and develop and execute strategic and differentiated communication programs/plans that deliver on HR and Verizon’s priorities and overall strategy.
  • Creating communications to elevate the talent experience at Verizon, including HR processes, updates, projects, and thought leadership.
  • Designing innovative and audience-centric ways of delivering engaging content across a mix of internal communications channels (i.e., executive communications, social media, Slacks, videos, articles, infographics, and events).
  • Monitoring the external landscape to share new, innovative, and interesting ways to engage Verizon employees via communication tactics and platforms.
  • Providing strategic guidance on messaging and effective communications as well as the development and hands-on execution of communications tactics.
  • Managing multiple projects effectively, including developing timelines, crafting and reviewing content, providing design guidance or support, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, etc.
