  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist Community Dietitian to join one of our dynamic and friendly Tayside teams.
  • The posts offer an excellent opportunity to deliver a wide range of community based nutritional care with an emphasis on nutrition support, including tube feeding in community settings including GP practices, patients’ homes and care homes.
  • A strong focus on high quality multidisciplinary integrated working is fundamental to the Teams success.
  • The successful candidates will be expected to work closely with other health and care colleagues, taking a pro-active approach to the clinical care of patients, service improvement and pathway development.
  • The post holder will also be responsible for the supervision of Dietetic Support Workers and/or a Band 5 Rotational Dietitian.
  • Excellent team working and communication skills are therefore essential in this role, as is the ability to work independently.
  • The Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service promotes collaborative working across all our teams.
  • This enables and encourages the development and implementation of pathways, standards and innovative practice.
  • It also allows for extensive peer support and opportunities for professional development.
