Responsibilities

  • Prepare salary quotes for internal and external candidates.
  • Assists with analysis of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, and incentives to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the organization's pay practices.
  • Uses published surveys in additional to other established and approved data sets to obtain and analyze market pay rates. Makes recommendations on appropriate pay grade level and FLSA status. Reviews recommendations within ARUP for internal equity. Prepares reports on findings and handles administrative steps to formalize recommendations.
  • Evaluates the organizations jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions.
  • Responsible for participating in and analyzing the results of compensation surveys.
  • Participates in annual salary administration programs, including salary structure creation and maintenance and development of salary increase budgets.
  • Review salary increases for compliance with organization policy and budget.
  • Participates and SWAB Committee meetings by preparing the agenda and materials ahead of time and tracking what positions have been approved by the committee.
  • Prepares Total Compensation Statements for employees to communicate the full value received for working at ARUP.
  • Assists with all aspects of the annual pay adjustments.
  • Performs system administration of compensation related programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
