  • Teaching certification in Information Technology or Business Studies.
  • PGCE/QTS/QTLS
  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science or Business Studies at the secondary level is desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.

  • Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to excel.
  • Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make computer science relevant and captivating for students.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
  • A positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for literature and language, promoting respectful behaviour among students.
