Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will have a varied role in working on non-contentious and contentious matters including both construction and infrastructure work.
  • You will have experience in drafting and negotiating all types of construction documentation, including construction contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, third party rights agreements, parent company guarantees, terms and conditions of business, bonds and escrow agreements.
  • On the contentious side, experience in adjudication is a must, together with some experience of 'live project advice', TCC litigation and forms of ADR including instructing experts and settling pleadings.
  • It would be advantageous if you were experienced in, at least, JCT, NEC3 and NEC4 forms of contract and have good wider industry knowledge.
