Requirements

  • Extensive Civil engineering construction knowledge and experience delivering and managing large and complex construction projects and regulated environments. Size of projects minimum £15mil plus.
  • Successful track record in engaging and managing stakeholders, contractors, consultants and other advisors
  • Strong communication and management skills including construction management, project management, financial management, change management and facilitation.
  • Strong skills in cost control, risk management, surveys, H&S auditing sites, schedule management, and earned value tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and team leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, IT and facilitation skills.
  • SMSTS certificate alongside with Site Supervisor or Site Manager SCSC card is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage work scopes within the Site Delivery Teams.
  • Secure and manage resources, maintaining SQEP standards and addressing personnel issues.
  • Develop and implement effective execution strategies aligned with the overall Programme Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Maintain open communication with all stakeholders and drive the delivery of contracts on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Anticipate, manage, and resolve project issues, including risk management and budget updates.
  • Ensure consistency in project schedules and deliverables, reviewing contractors’ payment applications.
  • Foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Lead and manage the performance of your direct team, ensuring all mandatory training is completed.
