Responsibilities

  • You will provide professional leadership to a team of psychologists working into community teams including a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), a Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT), a Memory Assessment Service (MAS) and an older adult in patient ward.
  • You will be supported by the network psychology lead, and will work alongside operational, clinical and other colleagues to ensure an excellent service for older people in the locality.
  • The successful post holder will be responsible for supervision of junior colleagues and will also work clinically into older adult services in the area, according to need.
  • You will be joining a thriving and supportive older adult psychology specialty, and you will also link with psychology leads from across the mental health network, which incorporates adult mental health and secure services, at regular meetings.
