Responsibilities

  • Review APO publications to ensure accuracy of data. This involves checking of data as presented by the authors to make sure they are accurate and timely. They include checking the data for the following publications:
  • Maldives Health System Review (Deliverable, Q4)
  • Fiji Health System Review (Deliverable, Q3)
  • Ageing in the Pacific policy Brief (Deliverable, Q1)
  • Comparative country analysis on AMR national action plans across 4 different Asia Pacific countries (Deliverable, Q2)
  • Provide well defined support to the secretariat. This includes reviewing and performing the first tranche analysis on the capacities of partner institutions that are coming together under APO support to work as thematic consortia. APO is expecting around applications from 50 different institutions as part of different consortia by end of January 2025 (Deliverable Q1)
  • Develop and write cross country publications once the Board approves. This will include as a minimum secondary APO publications on analysis of APO’s PHC database in East Asia and the Pacific region (combined WPRO and SEARO) (Deliverable Q2-3).
  • Develop proposal for research grants. These may include specific grant applications to the Philanthropy partnership, NIHR, IDRC, Qatar foundation and the Wellcome Trust. The calls for these will come at different periods throughout the year (Deliverable Q1, Q2 and Q3, Q4)
  • Monthly report relating to the various work projects as identified in the work performed section. Which may be substantiated with the result of the work as attachment to the report
  • Monthly invoice
