Responsibilities

  • You will have responsibility for providing technical advice across a wide range of projects including international expansion and restructuring, transatlantic structures, mergers and acquisitions, tax governance and control, finance / tax technology transformations, and a broad range of domestic and international tax issues relevant to the professional practices sector (e.g salaried members and mixed members legislation, international remote workers, permanent establishment queries).
  • You will also have responsibility for managing the year end tax processes for the largest UK headquartered and US inbound law firms, giving you invaluable insight into the heart of our client’s operations.
  • We work within a wider team of subject matter experts across our Global Employer Services, VAT, Tax Depreciation and Transfer Pricing practices, and you will be encouraged to co-ordinate tax advice across our specialist teams and have knowledge of key issues across other taxes.
  • We also lead the client relationships across our international network by supporting and co-ordinating services from multiple Deloitte locations.
  • Your role will be diverse and challenging, and you will take the lead on delivering our client services and developing client relationships, as well as playing an active part in building new relationships and winning work.
  • You will be a confident team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise with others, as well as continuing to build your own technical expertise or specialism.
  • Your responsibilities will include managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
  • As part of your role, you will receive continuous on the job training, including direct interaction with the partners and directors in our team, as well as extensive opportunities to interact with our clients and targets.
  • You will have people management responsibilities, including developing junior members of the team and may act as a coach for more junior members of the team.
