  • Relationship Management: Establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate and execute Air Products' strategy.
  • Labor Relations: Foster productive relationships with organized labor groups, particularly Building Trade Unions, to ensure economically beneficial outcomes for both Air Products and the unions.
  • Compliance Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for ensuring compliance with California SB740 law, providing advice, guidance, and resolving inquiries related to the law and other applicable policies and labor regulations.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop and maintain an Employee Handbook, training plans, and materials to keep new team members up to date with the latest SB-740 regulations.
  • Project Labor Agreement Expertise: Act as the go-to expert on Air Products' approved Project Labor Agreement (PLA), interfacing with internal teams, legal counsel, contractors, customers, regulatory agencies, and unions.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators to measure the success of relationships between contractors, subcontractors, unions, and Air Products departments.
  • Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with outside contractors to execute Air Products' strategy, and foster relationships with multi-level union leadership to ensure a successful partnership.
  • Organizational Communication: Provide regular updates on the status of relationships and drive actions across the organization to meet expectations.
