  • Demonstrated experience in providing customer-focused service delivery programs and demonstrated ability to meet customer/client expectations with an emphasis on quality, quantity, and timeliness of work.,

  • In depth knowledge of contract requirements concerning required accounting practices, procurement requirements, and allowable costs,

Responsibilities

  • Administer Inter Entity Work Orders and Inter Agency Agreements.
  • Performs targeted reviews and assessments of procurement and accounting transactions to evaluate compliance with Jefferson Lab’s prime contract requirements and company business practices.
  • Reports to management any areas of concern, weaknesses, deficiencies, and/or non- compliances based on reviews and participates in organizational efforts to resolve issues.
  • Review and submit multiple agreement types to Contracting Officers.
  • Serves as the coordinator for all Jefferson Lab audit activity and data calls, coordinates dissemination of procurement and financial operations data to audit and other organizations.
  • Develops and maintains basic and special reports and presentations regarding procurement activities, status and business management data.
  • Review, coordinate, and disseminate prime contract changes to appropriate laboratory staff and management
  • Review proposed prime contract changes, assess impact based on information from subject matter experts, and prepare corresponding responses to DOE for review and signature.
  • Lead execution efforts for contract compliance implementation action plans under the prime contract as required.
  • Monitor compliance with prime contract deliverables and follow up with assigned managers as needed to ensure timely delivery of contract deliverables.
  • Advise Management on Procurement Matters.

The Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, located in Newport News, Virginia, is operated by Jefferson Science Associates, LLC for the Department of Energy’s Office of Science. The primary mission of the lab is to explore the fundamental nature of confined states of quarks and gluons, including the nucleons that comprise the mass of the visible universe. Jefferson Lab is also a world-leader in the development of the superconducting radio-frequency (SRF) technology utilized for the lab's Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF). This technology is the basis for an increasing array of applications at Jefferson Lab, other DOE labs, and in the international scientific community. The DOE recently announced the selection of Jefferson Lab as the lead for its new High Performance Data Facility Hub.
