Responsibilities

  • Work together with direct manager to support day-to-day, tactical category business needs to meet and exceed brand plans and financial goals
  • Coordinate the review, including business approvals, and execution of product development, monitor progress of work, identify risks in the delivery and implement timely resolution to ensure optimal consumer- and property-relevant product innovation; work closely with licensees to ensure feedback is provided in a timely manner and properly completed
  • Ensure timely delivery of contracts by supporting manager through contract negotiation process, including information collection, analysis and deal point entry
  • Work seamlessly with internal departments, such as the Paramount Creative Group, Franchise Marketing, Legal, International, Retail Development, Digital and Retail Marketing to deliver transparency and ensure timely development of products
  • Lead joint marketing meetings with licensees and acquire marketing plans, identify and provide asset needs, and ensure marketing approvals given on time via Paramount's routing system
  • Assist in development of annual and quarterly revenue forecasts by collecting budget and sales information from licensees, analyzing numbers, and developing response plans
  • Conduct periodic market tours and competitive assessments, compile findings and make recommendations with fact-based support. Be aware of industry trends
  • Provide support by compiling pertinent materials for presentations, including property overview presentations, internal line reviews, category success stories, ratings, press stories, etc. to keep Paramount top of mind and fuel retail success
  • Gather internal and external data and build reports to satisfy key metrics needs such as POS reports from key partners, retail placement information, white space analysis, etc.
  • Support direct manager throughout the contract negotiation process, including information collection, analysis and deal point entry
