What is the primary purpose of the Corp Event & Activation Sr Analyst role?
The primary purpose of this role is to develop, project manage, and implement major corporate events and activation strategies internally and externally that support key partnerships and strategic platforms.
What types of budgets will I be managing in this role?
You will individually develop and maintain event budgets of $4M+ and collectively manage over $25 million in event & activation budgets.
What experience is required for this position?
A Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or Sports Management is preferred, along with 6 years of experience in hotel/hospitality management, sports management, marketing, project management, or a related field.
Will I be leading teams in this role?
Yes, you will lead cross-functional internal and external teams to develop integrated activation strategies, directing them through the planning and execution processes.
What is expected regarding vendor and agency management?
You will train and direct multiple large vendor and agency teams through the event planning and execution process while being accountable for their work and performance.
How will my work impact company goals?
You will continuously evaluate activation strategies to ensure company goals and objectives are achieved, present event recaps to executive leadership, and highlight ROI and recommendations for future improvements.
How many attendees will I be responsible for during events?
You will be responsible for the safety, wellbeing, and overall experience of up to 5,000 event attendees, including Lowe’s senior executives.
What compliance factors will I need to consider when planning events?
You will need to ensure that all execution plans adhere to tax regulations, comply with data security guidelines, protect the company from potential legal issues, and have adequate insurance coverage.
