The primary role of a Cost Estimation Engineer is to prepare and/or review and endorse cost estimates of different levels of accuracy during various stages of the project lifecycle, developing multi-disciplinary conceptual and definitive cost estimates for a variety of projects.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management from a recognized university is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in EPC or Project Management in the Oil and Gas industry and cost estimation or proposal execution.
Is experience with cost estimation software necessary?
It's not mandatory, but experience in using cost estimation software such as Aspen CCE is considered a good advantage.
