  • Prepare schedules of costs for negotiations and interim payment requests.
  • Assist fee earners with the preparation of bundles and e-filing of documents with Courts.
  • Prepare narratives for inclusion within client bills, detailing the work done on the case, and handle client billing instructions to the Accounts team.
  • Manage the client journey and experience, including handling enquiries by phone, letter, and email. Provide case updates and progress information.
  • Deal with relevant case correspondence, compose letters on case handler’s request, and respond independently to correspondence.
  • Ensuring all relevant tasks on logged on the case management system and that all team files are in good order and in accordance with agreed practice.
  • Deal with accounts queries and ensure Cost Team records are kept up to date and orderly.
  • Draft documents in line with Court precedents and best practice.
  • Assist with BD activities and arrange training where applicable.
  • Achieve time recording targets to ensure profitable working.
