Responsibilities

  • - The Courier is primarily responsible for servicing UF Health Florida Surgical Center, UF Health O.R. Department and UF Health Children's Surgical with transporting surgical supplies, equipment, specimens, and mail to and from other affiliated facilities.
  • - The courier also ensures the proper maintenance of the company vehicle i.e. preventative maintenance, gas, cleaning & oil changes by making arrangements for vehicle service with the Business Manager.
  • - During downtime, the courier assists with optimizing the flow of the front desk by performing clerical duties such as answering phones, patient chart preparation & patient check in.
