Responsibilities

  • Coordination of the design selling environments, display of products consultation areas, and transaction spaces.
  • Ensures Brand’s image is consistent and properly expressed and maintained within guidelines set by New York Office in order to achieve a cumulative and synergistic effect in terms of architecture, detailing merchandise layouts.
  • Provides designs, technical drawings and specifications to market and chosen shopfitter for every new installation.
  • Communicates with regional design groups on store appearance; informs all parties involved of any updates and/or revisions to standard details.
  • Works closely with Brand Directors to ensure complete and articulated store presentation.
  • Negotiates with brands, vendors and retailer design teams in order to find a solution where everyone benefits.
  • Ensures all brand designs and final products are adapted to any existing security constraints.
  • Educates sales teams to become increasingly knowledgeable and self-sufficient in choosing locations that best suit needs of Brands.
  • Educates new and old shopfitters and updates them on new techniques, details and directions for designs.
  • Updates shopfitters on materials for the brands and ensures best quality/cost ratio of the projects.
  • Investigates and interviews new shopfitters for future markets and projects.
  • Provides leadership, guidance and management.
  • Provides input in assessing performance of team-members.
