Responsibilities

  • Drive MN’s participation in research ecosystems in the field of defense and dual use communications networks
  • Work with national defense ministries, European Defense Fund, NATO and other relevant organizations to build research ecosystems and projects targeting the creation of future products
  • Work with research organizations, academia and research units of national ministries of defense and armed forces
  • Work closely with Nokia Standards, Nokia Bell Labs and other Nokia corporate functions to drive alignment within Nokia
  • Proactively engage with partners and other stakeholders to steer and influence forthcoming calls for proposals of research programs
  • Identify and prioritize defense related calls for proposal and orchestrate Nokia participation to such projects
  • Participate and contribute to selected research projects jointly with other partners and Nokia teams
  • Work closely with MN’s Defense and Space BU
