Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and mentor Project Director/Approver (PD/PA), Project Management (PM), and Framework Management (FW) communities.
  • Define and implement our approach to project management, including setting out clear roles and responsibilities for project and framework team members.
  • Ensure and assign PMs to projects that are appropriately experienced and qualified for the complexity of the project being delivered.
  • Ensure teams are skilled, resourced appropriately, and supported with coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Foster professional development through internal training programs and external certifications like PMP.
  • Drive consistency in project set up, sign off (Go / No Go) and delivery through best practice sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Active engagement with our clients to ensure we are delivering projects that meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Cultivate a client-centric culture, promoting client satisfaction and continuous feedback via Net Promoter Scores and direct client interactions.
  • Support business growth through strong client relationships, successful project delivery, and active involvement in major bids.

  • Lead monthly project and portfolio clinics / project reviews to proactively identify and resolve issues, such as resourcing, managing change, mitigating risks etc.

  • Drive robust risk management, scope control, and financial performance monitoring, including Earned Value Management (EVM) where appropriate and ensuring that we are meeting business project update cycle dates and accuracy.
  • Ensure projects and frameworks are effectively set up, operated, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Maintain strong client satisfaction scores and positive feedback.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards with minimal write-downs.
  • Support growth targets across frameworks and improve project margin trends.
