Responsibilities

  • - Primarily overseeing the day to day activity of Learning and Development across all areas of the Trust, including delivery of Trust values, as well as adherence to national and local policy and reporting on compliance.
  • - There will be some line management and a commitment to ensure that all colleagues in the trust have equitable support and access to develop themselves both personally and professionally.
  • - Support the Implementation of Personal and Professional Development Planning, curriculum, finance and research through: Collaborative working trust wide, contributing to the strategic planning and identification of opportunities to improve, learner experience, finance, governance, processes and systems. Working with the personnel who deliver those services Trust wide and within medical education, in some instances as line manager.
  • - Supporting the development and implementation of robust assurance systems and writing clear reports. Ensuring alignment to internal and external policies, contracts and guidelines as we seek to deliver an outstanding service. Role modelling own adherence to strategic priorities, values and compliance and maintaining your own professionalism.
