Responsibilities

  • Work with design team to drive exciting, original product design for the way customers are living today.
  • Work with Senior Designer to create trend direction for your areas and present upcoming trends for the department.
  • Responsible for continually researching new trends in lifestyle, product design, packaging and materials and propose how these can be incorporated into my department’s strategy.
  • Sourcing new materials and techniques at relative costs.
  • Identify potential new product categories to drive incremental business.
  • Create exciting clear, commercial and concise product briefs which result in successful and timely samples.
  • Awareness of sales performance of my departments products to ensure future briefings build on success and improve sales.
  • Be an expert in my field with a thorough knowledge of the factories and their abilities.
  • Build successful relationships with our supply base including both domestic and FE routes.
  • Travel UK and overseas to source and develop new products.
  • Champion circular and sustainable products and materials in everything we do.
